S.A.Technology was informed that they had won a contract with the Washington Division of URS Corporation in Pine Bluff to design and build a Ton Handling System. This system is a line of three identical gloveboxes for ton container handling and a supporting overhead crane to complete transfer operations. Supporting equipment inside the glovebox includes ton container rests and a fixture tool for operations. External support equipment around the glovebox line includes a preparation ton container platform and elevated walkways for operation loading and unloading. S.A.Technology completed construction of the ton handling system on an accelerated due date of December 2008, only 6 months after receiving the contract.

Below is a list of the six pieces of equipment that comprise the ton handling system.
- Top-running, single-girder, 3-ton crane with runway support system.
- Ton container preparation station and roller assembly for two ton containers.
- Elevated walkway for loading and unloading operations for the entire length of the assembled glovebox line.
- Two individual carbon steel frames halves are bolted together and lined with stainless linear. A total of three gloveboxes supply capacity to meet productions needs.
- Internal framing for ton container support and an approved fixture for venting in each glovebox.
- Air lock for each glovebox.
