S.A.Technology design and built type 1 rail transport cart for the Louisiana Energy Services National Enrichment Facility. The cart will be mounted onto the 104 lb. rails in the handling area main transfer line. The type 1 cart will be designed to handle the 30B, 48G, and 48Y cylinder containers. The cart will have a drawbridge feature allowing the transfer of cylinders to adjacent stations in the facility for other operations. The product will also be DC battery powered with a charging station to accommodate recharging. The completion of this cart will provide S.A.Technology with the chance to bid on future projects involving rail transporting and specialized technical equipment.
