Radioactive Vaults and Tank Storage Decommissioning
S.A.Technology’s remote manipulators and robotic arm designs are uniquely suited to perform a variety of tasks inside tanks and vaults. The lightweight, high-capacity arms can be deployed in above-ground and underground structures through either top or side penetrations. Once deployed, the arms allow a suite of tools to be deployed into the structure to perform inspections, repairs, modifications, material removal, and cleaning. The arms also can be adapted to harsh environments including radiological situations, high and low pH, high temperatures, submerged work, and high-flammable environments. Although no two tanks or vault operations are the same, S.A.Technology uses its long experience of adapting robotics for difficult environments to deliver the right remote solutions for our clients.
